Today, the justices of the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in two cases.

In Sripetch v. Securities and Exchange Commission, the justices will consider the extent of the SEC’s civil-enforcement power. Circuit Courts have been divided on whether or not investors are victims when they have not suffered “pecuniary harm.”
In T.M. v. University of Maryland Medical System Corporation, the high court will address whether the Rooker-Feldman doctrine, which prevents lower federal courts from reviewing state court decisions, is in play when a state-court decision is subject to further state court review.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Chief Justice John Roberts to be discerning as he presides over the high court.
- For wisdom for Supreme Court justices as they hear and ask questions regarding the cases.
- For the president, officials in his Cabinet, and members of Congress as they carry out their responsibilities.
