President Donald Trump announced that Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are working on a 15-point peace plan to resolve the conflict with Iran.
President Trump stated that Iran has presented the U.S. with a “gift,” but did not elaborate on what the regime had given. Pakistan has offered to host peace negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.
Iran has begun to charge vessels a safe passage fee to transit the Strait of Hormuz. The United Kingdom is heading a coalition to sweep the strait to remove mines that Iran has placed to ensure the security of oil tankers.
