The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) has released a video on Facebook and Instagram to raise public awareness of the dangers illicit drugs pose to human life. Parents who have lost children to overdose are featured in the video.

“Preventing illicit drug use and protecting families remain ONDCP’s core mission,” said Director Sara Carter. “Traffickers exploit online platforms to sell illicit drugs that can be deadly when laced with illicit substances, such as fentanyl. We must continue to teach our children about the dangers of drugs and protect them from those who seek to do irreparable harm.”
The White House stated, “Through partnering with families, communities, and the private-sector, ONDCP hopes to take historic action that will continue to decrease drug-related deaths and end drug use before it starts.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Carter as she heads the ONDCP and seeks to raise awareness of the dangers of controlled substances.
- For President Trump and members of his administration as they work to prevent drug trafficking and reduce the potential for overdoses in the nation.
- For FBI, Homeland Security, ICE, and Border Patrol agents as they arrest and detain drug cartel members.
