U.S. Airlifts Medical Supplies to Venezuela

Shipment supports interim health authorities amid stabilization effort.

President Trump’s administration directed an airlift of more than 6,000 kilograms of medical supplies to Venezuela as part of a three-phase plan directed at supporting stabilization and recovery efforts.

The State Department announced that the shipment, consisting of 25 pallets of medications, would be distributed nationwide by Venezuela’s interim Ministry of Health to address urgent medical needs. U.S. officials described the delivery as the first in a broader effort to strengthen Venezuela’s healthcare system and address shortages affecting patients across the country.

“These critical medications will help stabilize Venezuela’s health system, address critical medical needs, reduce preventable disease, and save lives,” State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott stated. “The United States continues to work with Venezuela’s interim authorities to execute our three-phased plan to support Venezuela’s economic recovery and political reconciliation.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary of State Rubio and others in the State Department as they oversee humanitarian shipments to other nations.
  • For U.S. officials as they coordinate humanitarian efforts with interim Venezuelan leaders.
  • For the president and members of his Cabinet to be led by God as they intervene on behalf of oppressed foreign people.
