Feds Arrest 8 After Civil Rights Investigation of Anti-ICE Activists Invading MN Church

The leader of the protest has been charged under the FACE Act.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested 8 activists who allegedly participated in the disruption of a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, including the leading of the protest. Activists accused one of the church pastors, David Easterwood, of leading the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office.

Protestors were videoed chanting “ICE out” and “Justice for Renee Good,” an activist who was shot by an ICE agent after ramming him with her vehicle earlier in January.

U.S. Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon concurred, “A house of worship is not a public forum for your protest! It is a space protected from exactly such acts by federal criminal and civil laws!”

In announcing the Justice Department investigation, Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated, “Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the DOJ and FBI officials as they conduct the investigation and arrest suspected perpetrators.
  • For wisdom for Attorney General Bondi and Assistant Attorney General Dhillon as they oversee the potential prosecution of the church protestors.
  • For God’s continued protection over churches and religious organizations in the country
