The second couple’s fourth child and third boy is due in July.
Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance released an announcement that they are expecting their fourth child.
“We’re very happy to share some exciting news. Our family is growing!” the announcement read. “Usha is pregnant with our fourth child, a boy. Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are all looking forward to welcoming him in late July.”
The second family stated, “During this exciting and hectic time, we are particularly grateful for the military doctors who take excellent care of our family and for the staff members who do so much to ensure that we can serve the country while enjoying a wonderful life with our children.”
It will be the first time in United States’ history that a vice president has had a new baby while in office.
At the 2025 March for Life, Vice President Vance said, “I want more babies in the United States of America. I want more happy children in our country, and I want beautiful young men and women who are eager to welcome them into the world and eager to raise them.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is also expecting. Her baby is due in May.
