President Donald Trump is heading to Davos, Switzerland, to participate in the World Economic Forum. This will be his third appearance in Davos as president.

President Trump has extended the national energy emergency declaration that was set to expire today. One year ago, on the day of his inauguration to his second term, President Trump signed the executive order declaring a national energy emergency under the National Emergencies Act.

The justices of the Supreme Court are hearing oral arguments in two cases today. The first deals with the opposing rulings of appellate courts regarding bans by local jurisdictions on law-abiding citizens carrying firearms in public for self-defense. The second case addresses withdrawal liability for employers under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for the president as he participates in the World Economic Forum at Davos this week.
  • For President Trump and members of his administration as they work to strengthen the nation’s national security and economy.
  • For Secretary Wright to be led by God as he manages the U.S. Department of Energy.
  • For the justices of the Supreme Court as they hear cases on Second Amendment rights and the protection of employees’ retirement income.
