Administration Overhauls H-1B Visa Program Vetting

H-1B applicants will be required to switch all social-media profiles to “public” as a part of their screening process.

The Department of State announced that it is expanding its screening and vetting for H-1B Visa applicants to include an “online presence review.” This screening will also apply to applicants’ dependents under an H-4 Visa. As a part of the new process, all applicants will be required to switch all of their social-media profiles to “public” to allow for proper screening.

The State Department explained that “every visa adjudication is a national security decision” and that they will continue to use “all available information in visa screening and vetting to identify visa applicants who are inadmissible to the [U.S.], including those who pose a threat to U.S. national security or public safety.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary of State Marco Rubio as he leads the State Department and advises the president concerning foreign relations.
  • For President Trump as he guides the United States’ foreign policy, including visa applications.
  • For God’s protection over the United States from those who may want to do it harm.
