President Donald Trump will travel to Jupiter, Florida, today and address the environmental accomplishments that have been made by his administration in the Everglades. He will later go to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to speak to supporters at a campaign event.

U.S. Representative Brian Mast of Florida, an Army veteran who lost both legs in an explosion in Afghanistan 10 years ago, is a promoter of clean water legislation. He is expected to meet with the president to discuss the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration infrastructure funding President Trump has requested from Congress in the federal budget that will reduce pollution from Lake Okeechobee and increase water storage capacity in the Everglades.

When questioned about the president holding the in-person event in North Carolina, Campaign Press Secretary Hogan Gidley said, “It’s always about the people with this president. It’s important to get out. It’s important to have those conversations candidly.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump as he promotes environmental improvements.
  • For the president as he travels and casts his vision for the nation.
  • That God’s will would be accomplished through the president’s administration.
