Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent recently expressed a positive opinion on the future of the nation’s economy. He said, “I am very, very optimistic on 2026. We have set the table for a very strong, non-inflationary growth economy.”
National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said he anticipates 2026 to be “an absolute blockbuster year,” despite the “hiccup” caused by the government shutdown in this year’s fourth quarter.
