Secretary of State Attends G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Canada

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is attending the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

At that meeting, the State Department said, “Secretary Rubio will advance U.S. interests in peace and security, strategic cooperation, and global stability.”

“Discussions will focus on advancing President Trump’s peace initiatives in Ukraine and Gaza, maritime security, Haiti, Sudan, supply chain resiliency, and critical minerals,” the department continued. “Foreign Ministers will build on commitments made at the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Kananaskis, Canada earlier this year.”
