President Donald Trump is headed to Norfolk, Virginia, today to review the United States’ naval assets.

The president is expected to discuss bringing battleships back into the U.S. fleet. The last battleships were decommissioned in the 1990s.
At Quantico Marine Base, earlier this week, President Trump said, “Some people would say that’s old technology. I don’t think it’s old technology. Your secretary likes it, and I’m open to it. Bullets are a lot less expensive than missiles… It’s something we’re seriously considering.”
The U.S. Navy is planning a celebration for its 250th anniversary later this month. The service branch will hold a weeklong celebration in Philadelphia, with a parade of ships on the Delaware River.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump to be led by the Lord as he serves as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- For the president and his military advisors as they assess the necessary weapons and warcraft.
- For Secretary Hegseth and the Joint Chiefs of Staff to be prudent in their recommendations and decisions.
