Last week we wrote about the needs of October — the cost of keeping the ministry open, and the added cost of carrying Pray the Vote through the election. Thank you to everyone who has already responded. Your gifts have brought us to about 40% of what is needed through Election Day.
This midterm is not a small thing. The choices made in the weeks ahead will shape whether the work our President is seeking for the nation can continue, or whether it will be slowed or turned aside. Elections decide more than headlines. They decide who holds the levers of law, spending, and appointment for years to come.
And yet too many good people sit this one out. They care deeply, they pray faithfully, and then they stay home. Part of our calling in this season is to reach them — not to tell them how to vote, but to help them see that their civic duty is also a spiritual one. A nation is shaped by those who show up.
That is why these next weeks matter so much for us. Pray the Vote exists to awaken prayer and to call God’s people to take their place as faithful citizens. We cannot do that work if we cannot stay operational.
