President Donald Trump is preparing for the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week.
Topics that foreign ministers and heads of state from all 193 UN Member nations will discuss include international security, civil rights and humanitarian crises, climate, emerging technologies, and nuclear disarmament. A briefing will also be presented by the Board of Peace on President Trump’s Gaza plan.
The UN delegates will also continue the process of selecting a successor for António Guterres as Secretary-General, whose second and final term ends in December.
The House Committee on Budget, chaired by Representative Jodey Arrington of Texas, is holding a field hearing entitled “America’s Fiscal Future: Examining the Need for a Fiscal Commission” in Dallas today.
