NASA Announces MAX POWER Airshow Coming This Fall

Aerial and aerospace show honors the United States’ 250th anniversary.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced special plans in honor of the United States’ 250th birthday. The MAX POWER airshow will be comprised of a series of exhibitions to display America’s finest technology, including ‘next-generation’ aircraft, spacecraft, and automatic vehicles.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said, “This November, we are opening Kennedy Space Center’s historic Shuttle Landing Facility to the public for America’s newest and most exciting aerospace technology expo and airshow, and we are calling it MAX POWER.“

He explained, “For 250 years, America has advanced by building what did not exist, flying higher, moving faster, and reaching toward the near-impossible. There is no better place to celebrate that spirit than at NASA Kennedy, America’s gateway to the stars and the place where so many of our nation’s greatest achievements began.”

Events will take place at the NASA Kennedy location, spanning to the Apollo Saturn V facilities, as well as the Launch and Landing facility. NASA is coordinating the event with the Air Dot Show, Delaware North, Space Florida, Purpose Entertainment, and UP.Summit. The airshow will include a showcase from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and other aerial divisions, as well as lectures from guest speakers. Behind-the-scenes bus tours and special exhibitions will be held, giving “the public a front-row seat to the future of American aerospace.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Administrator Isaacman and NASA officials as they coordinate the details of the MAX POWER airshow.
  • For government and military personnel as they work with the private sector on the semiquincentennial aerial event.
