The House of Representatives is back from recess this week. Members of committees and subcommittees are meeting today to discuss birthright citizenship, reducing bureaucracy to support employment opportunities, management of federal lands, advanced nuclear reactors, and critical resource supply chains.
Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau is traveling to Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Solomon Islands, and Kiribati. U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Commandant Admiral Kevin Lunday will join Deputy Secretary Landau for part of his trip, in recognition of the key role the Coast Guard plays in advancing regional maritime security.
