The command stated, “The mission is a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression.”
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced a retaliatory attack against Iran on Tuesday after President Donald Trump responded to the regime’s drone attack that brought down a U.S. helicopter near Oman earlier this week. The American pilots were safely recovered after the crash.
CENTCOM stated that its “forces began launching self-defense strikes against Iran at 5 p.m. ET today at the Commander in Chief’s direction, in response to yesterday’s downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter. The mission is a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression.“
Details of the mission were not released, but explosions were reported in the Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas and on Qeshm Island.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump to seek the Lord’s wisdom as he serves as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
- For Admiral Cooper to be prudent in his role as commander of U.S. Central Command.
- For God’s protection over the American service members serving in the Middle East and around the world.
