President Donald Trump said the ceasefire with Iran is holding despite failed peace talks this past weekend.
President Trump instructed the U.S. Navy to blockade Iran’s ports, keeping vessels from entering or exiting, to prevent Iran from illegally charging fees for ships to safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The president cautioned that any of Iran’s remaining “fast attack ships“ that “come anywhere close to our BLOCKADE… will be immediately ELIMINATED, using the same system of kill that we use against the drug dealers on boats at Sea.“
The Israelis will hold peace discussions with Lebanese officials today. While the Iranian regime had demanded that Hezbollah be included in the U.S. ceasefire, which President Trump refuted, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel would also observe a two-week ceasefire to discuss security with Lebanon.
