The president held an Easter lunch and has scheduled a Passover event.
President Donald Trump scheduled prayer events this past week to commemorate Holy Week, Good Friday, and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday. The White House will also hold a Passover event next week.
“President Trump will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting faith in our public square,” White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers.
She continued, “Millions of Christians across the country will celebrate Jesus Christ conquering death, freeing us from sin, and unlocking the gates of Heaven for all of humanity, and the President is proud to join Americans during this blessed holiday.”
