Today, the newly formed Board of Peace, chaired by President Donald Trump, will meet in Washington, D.C.
Invitations were sent to 26 member nations after the board was established by the United States during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, last month.
The Board of Peace originated as an entity that would ensure that peace continues in Gaza. The board is expected to address ongoing conflict in Gaza as Hamas has resisted disarmament, one of the conditions of the ceasefire agreement.
