He was in possession of shotgun shells that had messages on them threatening President Trump.
A man who claimed to be a U.S. Secret Service agent threatened security guards with a gun at a Portland, Oregon, grocery store last week. He fled the scene, but after working with the Secret Service to identify and locate the man, Portland Police executed a search warrant a few days later at his apartment.
After tear gas was deployed, the suspect emerged and pointed a firearm at an officer and was fatally shot by the police.
“The suspect left behind an instrument case that contained a loaded shotgun,” Portland Police stated. “Officers seized the shotgun as evidence. They found threatening messages written on the shotgun shells that specifically named President Donald Trump.”
