The Department of Homeland Security is drawing down the number of federal immigration enforcement officers it has deployed in Minnesota after the state’s prisons began notifying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of the release of criminal aliens so federal agents may take them into custody.

Border Czar Tom Homan stated, “More officers taking custody of criminal aliens directly from the jails means less officers on the street doing criminal operations… It’s safer for the community, safer for the officers, and safer for the alien.”
The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, is considering legislation that would establish and increase criminal penalties for threats to distribute child sexual abuse material to extort or coerce victims, and make the coercion of children to harm themselves a criminal offense.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Border Czar Homan to seek God’s guidance as he coordinates immigration enforcement with state officials.
- For the safety of federal immigration and border protection officers as they seek to detain and remove violent criminal aliens from the U.S.
- For President Trump to receive the Lord’s wisdom as he pursues his agenda and speaks with foreign leaders.
