President Trump Hosted Gaza Board of Peace Signing at Davos

Roughly 35 nations have joined the board to guide Gaza’s governance.

During his trip to Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum, President Donald Trump hosted a signing ceremony for the Board of Peace that will oversee the Palestinian civil governance of Gaza. Approximately 35 countries have joined the board at President Trump’s invitation.

President Trump said, “The first steps toward a brighter day for the Middle East, and a much safer future for the world are unfolding right before your very eyes.”

The president continued, “Together we are in a position to have an incredible chance – I don’t even call it a chance, I think it’s going to happen – to end decades of suffering, stop generations of hatred and bloodshed and forge a beautiful, ever-lasting and glorious peace for that region.”

In response to those saying that a Board of Peace was not necessary when there is a United Nations, President Trump said, “I think the Board of Peace will be the most prestigious board ever, and it’s going to get a lot of work done that the United Nations should have done. And we’ll work with the United Nations. But the Board of Peace is going to be special. We’re going to have peace.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump as he invites nations to participate in the Board of Peace to ensure the peaceful governance of Gaza.
  • For wisdom for the president and members of his administration as they seek ceasefires in global conflicts.
