The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a report this month titled “Worst Case Housing Needs 2025.”

Agency officials outlined how the “flood” of foreign-born individuals illegally entering the U.S. in recent years “contributed to the sharp increases in housing costs for the American people.”

Secretary Scott Turner said that the HUD report “found that between 2021 and 2024, the foreign-born population in our country increased by six million people – the largest such influx over such a short period in American history.”

The secretary added that the record number of illegal aliens that came into the country caused prices to rise and strained supply. “Under President Trump’s leadership, we are working very hard to help bring down costs and raise supply,”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Turner to be led by the Lord as he heads the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
  • For HUD officials as they work to improve the affordability of housing and construction.
  • For President Trump to seek God’s guidance as he looks to strengthen the nation’s economy.
