U.S. Mint Releases 2026 Coin Designs for America’s 250th Anniversary

The coins will feature patriotic themes, replacing the previously approved images based on diversity, equity, inclusion, and suffrage.

The U.S. Mint released renderings of the patriotic designs for 2026 coins that will commemorate the United States’ 250th anniversary. Various coins will feature the theme “We the People” and will include images of Lady Liberty, the Mayflower Compact, Presidents George Washington, James Madison, and Abraham Lincoln.

“The designs on these historic coins depict the story of America’s journey toward a ‘more perfect union,’ and celebrate America’s defining ideals of liberty,” said Acting Mint Director Kristie McNally. “We hope to offer each American the opportunity to hold our nation’s storied 250 years of history in the palms of their hands as we Connect America through Coins.”

“The new Semiquincentennial Quarter designs will celebrate American history and the founding of our great nation,” U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach said. “The Trump administration is dedicated to fostering prosperity and patriotism. We have no doubt these new designs will be wildly popular with the American people.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting Director McNally as she oversees the production of the 250th anniversary coins.
  • For Treasurer Beach to seek God’s guidance as he fulfills his role in the Treasury Department.
