The legislators cited misinformation and mishandling of information among the reasons for the impeachment effort.
Representative Haley Stevens of Michigan introduced articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., this week.
The congresswoman said, “It’s a public health and safety issue,” claiming the health secretary has cut critical medical research programs and issued misinformation. She stated, I’m not going to sit quietly by while people’s health and safety and lives are on the line.”
Representative Shri Thanedar, also of Michigan, introduced articles of impeachment against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. He cited the Pentagon head’s handling of classified information and called the killing of narcoterrorists “murder and conspiracy to murder.”
The Pentagon Inspector General recently reported that the Signal chat, on which a journalist was mistakenly included earlier this year, did not expose any classified information.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For discernment for members of Congress as they seek to provide oversight of executive agencies and departments.
- For Secretaries Kennedy and Hegseth to oversee their respective departments with integrity and honor.
