General Gregory Guillot, USAF Commander, U.S. Northern Command and NORAD
Gregory Michael Guillot is from Tucson, Arizona. He transferred from the University of Arizona to the U.S. Air Force Academy. He graduated and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.
Guillot served as an air battle manager, then chief of weapons and tactics for the 607th Air Control Squadron. He served as a weapons school instructor after he attended the USAF Weapons School. He became director of operations for the 966th Airborne Air Control Squadron, then served as commander of the 965th Airborne Air Control Squadron.
Guillot commanded the 380th Expeditionary Operation Group at a base in the United Arab Emirates, then served as commander of the 552nd Air Control Wing. He then commanded the 55th Wing at Offutt AFB. He served as director of operation for the U.S. Northern Command before taking command of the Ninth Air Force.
Since May 2023, Guillot has been Commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command.

General Gregory Guillot, Commander of the U.S. Northern Command, announced the certification of an Army rapid anti-drone response team. The operational team will rapidly counter drone threats to any military base in the U.S.
General Guillot stated, “The validation and certification of our Counter-small UAS fly-away kit is an important step in being able to support installation commanders within the United States as they defend against drone incursions.”
The general continued, “Moving beyond an advisory role, we now have a team with equipment that is able to rapidly deploy and provide active and passive detection capabilities and low-collateral non-kinetic and low-kinetic defeat options in one package.”
