A “shoot on sight” order has reportedly been issued by the Latin Kings against federal law enforcement officers.
As U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Border Patrol agents continue the Operation Midway Blitz, centered in the Chicago area, federal officials have warned of a “shoot on sight” order from the Latin Kings gang against federal agents conducting immigration enforcement.
CBP Chief Patrol Agent Greg Bovino said, “A shoot-on-sight threat for federal law enforcement is extremely concerning to us. We actually put that out in an intelligence bulletin to all federal law enforcement, especially Border Patrol.”
The intelligence bulletin stated, “Officer/agents are reminded to maintain heightened situational awareness and exercise extreme caution when conducting enforcement activities.”
An illegal alien who is a native of Mexico was arrested for opening fire on ICE officers in Chicago last week.
Chief Bovino said, “This individual should have never been walking the streets of Chicago. This individual should not have been in this country, so the fact that he has re-violated again, and still has a firearm, is… very concerning to us in law enforcement.”
