President Donald Trump is traveling to Tokyo, Japan, today.

The president will meet with the new Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. They will discuss the $550 billion in investments Japan has pledged to make in the United States.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick reported last month, “Japan came through with the paperwork. They gave us $550 billion to invest for the benefit of America, build the Alaska pipeline, build nuclear power plants, make your grid better, do generic antibiotics in America.”

President Trump explained, “Without the tariffs, you could have never made the deal. … Tariffs equal national security.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to seek the Lord’s guidance as he discusses the details of the trade deal with Japan.
  • For Commerce Secretary Lutnick as he promoted U.S. industry for foreign investment.
  • For wisdom for Secretary of State Rubio as he participates in discussions with Japanese officials.
