He included independent journalists and online commentators in the discussion.
President Donald Trump hosted a roundtable in the White House State Dining Room this week to discuss the violence that journalists and others have experienced or witnessed from Antifa operatives. The president designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization last month.
President Trump said that members of the group have been very threatening, but that his administration was going to address both those who are conducting attacks and those who are funding them.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel affirmed that his agency “will not rest until we find every single seed money, donor organization, and funding mechanism” Antifa has. He added that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent “is allowing us to map out these networks through their financial criminal activities, which has been going on for decades.”
Attorney General Pamela Bondi said that the administration was looking to dismantle Antifa “brick by brick.“ Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that the network is “just as sophisticated as MS-13, as TDA (Tren de Aragua), as ISIS, as Hezbollah, as Hamas — as all of them — they are just as dangerous.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump and members of his adminstration as they seek to reduce crime and take down criminal entities.
- For wisdom for U.S. officials as they address violence and rioting in various cities around the nation.
