President Donald Trump is meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the White House today.

President Trump is expected to discuss trade as well as economic and security partnership priorities with the prime minister.
The United States, Canada, and Mexico have begun to conduct separate public consultations on the United States-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement, signed during President Trump’s first term, ahead of the review that is set to occur next year. While President Trump imposed a 35 percent tariff on Canadian goods earlier this year due to the flow of fentanyl into the U.S., the increase does not apply to products included in the USMCA.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For God’s guidance for President Trump as he sets trade and economic policies.
- For wisdom for the president and Canadian prime minister as they discuss mutual North American concerns.
- For members of the Senate as they negotiate potential funding agreements to reopen the federal government.
