The arrest is part of the agency’s campaign to remove the “worst of the worst“ criminal illegal aliens from the U.S.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers (ICE) arrested a Cuban national for threatening to bomb Congresswoman Kathy Castor’s office.
“There is no place for political violence in America,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated. “Thanks to the brave men and women of ICE, this illegal alien and national security threat will be out of our country.”
The assistant secretary continued, “Ramped-up immigration enforcement targeting the worst of the worst is removing more and more criminal illegal aliens off our streets every day and is sending a clear message to anyone else in this country illegally: Self-deport, or we will arrest and deport you.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the Lord’s protection over members of Congress as they receive threats to their lives and their loved ones.
- For the Homeland Security secretary and officials from DHS, ICE, and CBP as they seek to remove criminal illegals from the U.S.
