GSA Offers to Rehire Hundreds of Former Federal Employees

The agency still has dozens of properties listed for sale.

The General Services Administration (GSA) sent an email to hundreds of former employees, offering to rehire them. The email gave the former employees seven days to respond to the rehiring offer.

The GSA is tasked with managing government workspaces and office buildings. The agency was one of the focuses of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for downsizing. DOGE recommended the termination of 201,000 federal employees across the government.

The agency stated, “GSA’s leadership team has reviewed workforce actions and is making adjustments in the best interest of the customer agencies we serve and the American taxpayers.”

GSA still has 45 federal buildings listed as “assets identified for accelerated disposition.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting Administrator Michael Rigas to be discerning in his oversight of the Government Services Administration.
  • For the president and members of his administration as they seek to run the federal government efficiently.
