Director Patel says, “Targeted acts of violence are unacceptable and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.“
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested a gunman who fired three shots into a Sacramento, California, ABC News station after the network canceled Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show. The suspect had posted $200,000 bail from the local jail that same day. He is now being held on federal charges for his attack and is ineligible for bail.
The FBI found that the man had been flagged for “violent speech“ on social media before committing the crime. The gunman shot at least three bullets into the occupied building, one of which went through the lobby window. No people were injured in the attack.
“The FBI has taken into custody the suspect linked to the shooting into ABC10’s Sacramento station lobby under a federal hold for interference with licensed broadcasts,“ FBI Director Patel stated. “Targeted acts of violence are unacceptable and will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Patel to be led by the Lord as he heads the FBI and federal law enforcement operations.
- For wisdom for federal agents and for safety as they conduct their operations.
