Charlie Kirk has died.

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk has died after being shot in the neck during an event at Utah Valley University President Donald Trump confirmed.
The university released a statement that said “Police are investigating. Leave campus immediately. Follow police instructions.” The campus is closed and classes are canceled until further notice.
Charlie Kirk is lovingly remembered by his wife, Erika, their 3-year-old daughter, and 1-year-old son, who survive him. Earlier in the day, Erika posted this verse to her social media “Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

President Donald Trump posted on social media that Charlie Kirk had died from the gunshot wound. “The great, and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” the president wrote. “He was loved and admired by all, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”

Charlie Kirk, a conservative commentator and advocate, was shot in the neck on Wednesday at a Utah Valley University campus event. He was taken to the hospital.
Federal leaders and others have all called for prayer as his condition is not known.
President Trump posted to Truth Social “We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!”
Vice President JD Vance urged, “Say a prayer for Charlie Kirk, a genuinely good guy and a young father.“
Senator Mike Lee of Utah, “I am tracking the situation at Utah Valley University closely. Please join me in praying for Charlie Kirk and the students gathered there.”
FBI Director Kash Patel stated, “We are closely monitoring reports of the tragic shooting involving Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Our thoughts are with Charlie, his loved ones, and everyone affected. Agents will be on the scene quickly and the FBI stands in full support of the ongoing response and investigation.“
