DC Grand Jury Declines to Indict Woman who Threatened President’s Life

The District of Columbia grand juries have also refused to indict others in recent incidents of political violence.

The grand jury in Washington, D.C., declined to indict the woman who had graphically threatened on social media to “sacrificially kill“ President Donald Trump. She was detained by the Secret Service after traveling from New York to the nation’s capital.

“Her intent was clear, traveling through five states to do so. She even confirmed the same to the U.S. Secret Service. This is the essence of a politicized jury,“ U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro said. “The system here is broken on many levels. Instead of the outrage that should be engendered by a specific threat to kill the president, the grand jury in D.C. refuses to even let the judicial process begin.“

Grand juries in the nation’s capital have also refused to indict the former Justice Department official who was arrested for assaulting a Customs and Border Protection officer, a woman who interfered with the transfer of an alleged gang member into Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, and a man who allegedly grabbed a U.S. Park Police officer after a foot chase. Another grand jury declined to indict a man who had threatened harm to the president while being arrested on charges of vandalism in D.C. last month.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For U.S. Attorney Pirro to be prudent as she brings cases to the courts in the District of Columbia for prosecution.
  • For judges and juries in Washington, D.C., to uphold federal laws and the U.S. Constitution.
