Director Patel describes it as an act of “domestic terrorism.“
Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel recently gave an update on the agency’s investigation of the tragic school shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, last week. He confirmed that the trans-identifying shooter held both anti-Catholic and antisemitic views, and designated the attack as a hate crime.
Director Patel said that the information the FBI has gathered on the gunman, who killed two children and injured 17 other people, indicates this “was an act of domestic terrorism motivated by a hate-filled ideology.”
The FBI director explained that the “subject left multiple anti-Catholic, anti-religious references both in his manifesto and written on his firearms. Subject expressed hatred and violence toward Jewish people, writing ‘Israel must fall,’ ‘Free Palestine,’ and using explicit language related to the Holocaust. He wrote an explicit call for violence against President Trump on a firearm magazine.”
He added, “We will employ all of our counter-terror tools to ensure this is fully investigated and deterred.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Patel to be led by the Lord as he heads the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- For discernment for FBI agents and officials as they seek to prevent domestic terrorism and hate crimes.
