Secretary of State Rubio travel

Today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio is traveling to Mexico to address U.S. priorities.

State Department Spokesperson Tommy Pigott said that Secretary Rubio will be discussing “swift and decisive action to dismantle cartels, halt fentanyl trafficking, end illegal immigration, reduce the trade deficit, and promote economic prosperity and counter malign extra continental actors.“

Secretary Rubio will proceed to Ecuador after his meetings with Mexican leaders. Spokesperson Pigott said, “The Secretary’s fourth trip to our hemisphere demonstrates the United States’ unwavering commitment to protect its borders, neutralize narco-terrorist threats to our homeland, and ensure a level playing field for American businesses.  Secretary Rubio’s engagements will deepen bilateral ties with Mexico and Ecuador and foster broader burden sharing across our region.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for Secretary of State Rubio as he discusses U.S. concerns with Mexican leaders.
  • For President Trump to receive God’s guidance as he crafts policies and makes decisions.
  • For U.S. officials as they update federal regulations and implement changes in government agencies.
