Other Palestinian officials’ visa applications have also been denied for “not complying with their commitments, and for undermining the prospects for peace.”
The State Department announced that some Palestinian Authority (PA) and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) officials’ visas have been revoked and new visa applications have been denied ahead of the United Nations General Assembly in the U.S. next month.
The State Department said, “It is in our national security interests to hold the PLO and PA accountable for not complying with their commitments, and for undermining the prospects for peace.”
The department continued, “Before the PLO and PA can be considered partners for peace, they must consistently repudiate terrorism — including the October 7 massacre — and end incitement to terrorism in education, as required by U.S. law and as promised by the PLO.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Rubio to receive God’s wisdom as he oversees the approval, denial, and revocation of U.S. visas for foreign officials and citizens.
- For State Department officials as they review diplomatic, work, and student visas to protect national security.
