The move will allow employees to experiment with OpenAI, Google, and Meta AI models.
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced last week that it is launching USAi, a secure online platform for federal agencies to experiment with the implementation of popular AI programs into their workflow. USAi will support the use of AI models made by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Meta, which GSA Deputy Administrator Stephen Ehikian said will bring “a competitive advantage to the American people.”
The website is framed as a way to advance the broader AI Action Plan of President Trump’s administration and to deliver “a competitive advantage to the American people,” GSA Deputy Administrator Stephen Ehikian said in a statement.
Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum said the goal is to let employees experiment responsibly and “make day-to-day workflows more efficient.”
