President Donald Trump’s 90-day pause on higher tariffs for China expires today.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that President Trump was considering another 90-day extension for details to be negotiated regarding trade.
Vice President JD Vance indicated that President Trump was weighing additional tariffs on China for its purchases of Russian oil, which supports that nation’s war efforts in Ukraine.
Before the tariff truce, President Trump had announced duties of 245% on Chinese imports and China had responded with 125% duties on American goods.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump to be led by the Lord as he determines which tariffs to implement.
- For members of the president’s trade team as they negotiate new agreements.
- For wisdom for the president and his advisors as they seek a ceasefire in Ukraine.
