The president orders increased police presence after teens attacked a DOGE employee.
President Donald Trump formally mobilized federal law enforcement on the streets of Washington, D.C., Friday morning, making the announcement just hours before sending out patrols from the U.S. Capitol Police, FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and other agencies.
“President Trump has directed an increased presence of federal law enforcement to protect innocent citizens. Starting tonight, there will be no safe harbor for violent criminals in D.C. President Trump is committed to making our nation’s capital safer for its residents, lawmakers, and visitors from all around the world,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated.
The president made this decision after two teens were arrested for allegedly attacking a former DOGE employee on Sunday morning, citing the numerous violent crimes occurring in the city.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump as he endeavors to improve the safety of normal citizens in the District of Columbia.
- For members of the Capitol Police, FBI, and U.S. Marshals Service as they increase their presence for the security of the nation’s capital.
