President Donald Trump is expected to participate in a change of command ceremony today for the Joint Task Force-National Capital Region, U.S. Army Military District of Washington at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall.

The Defense Information School (DINFOS) will then hold a graduation ceremony for its Mass Communications Foundations Course. Students in the course “learn and apply the concepts and skills needed in both the public affairs and visual information specialties.“

Defense Secretary Hegseth, who toured a display of drone prototypes last week, announced a plan for “drone dominance.” He issued a memo that rescinds a plethora of restrictions previously imposed on the use and production of inexpensive Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) on the battlefield. Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Emil Michael reported that the prototypes proceeded from concept to development in roughly 18 months, down from the usual 6 years.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to seek the Lord’s direction as he serves as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • For Secretary Hegseth to be led by God as he seeks to streamline drone development and production.
  • For members of the House and Senate as they evaluate appropriations for the National Defense Authorization Act for the coming fiscal year.
