DOD Confirms U.S. Airstrikes Set Iran’s Nuclear Development Back 1 or 2 Years

Envoy Witkoff is reportedly scheduled to meet with the Iranian foreign minister in Oslo in the coming week.

The Pentagon has confirmed the damage the U.S. airstrikes did to Iran’s three nuclear development sites.

“We have degraded their program by one to two years, at least intel assessments inside the Department [of Defense] assess that,” Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell explained. “We believe that Iran’s nuclear capability has been severely degraded, perhaps even their ambition to build a bomb.”

Addressing the leaked assessment that was largely reported in the media, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “What typically happens is someone reads a report and leaks it with their own spin, often to embarrass the administration or oppose the action. The Iranian program, the nuclear program today, looks nothing like it did.” He added that Iran is “much further from a nuclear weapon today than before the president took this bold action.”

Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is reportedly planning to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghch in Oslo to discuss a nuclear treaty.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Hegseth to be led by the Lord as he heads the Defense Department.
  • For Envoy Witkoff to receive God’s wisdom as he engages with foreign ministers.
  • For discernment for Secretary Rubio as he heads U.S. diplomatic efforts.
