In the News…

Last week, Representative Wesley Hunt of Texas requested that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem create a task force that would stop millions of illegal migrants from receiving Medicaid benefits.

Congressman Hunt stated when he sent the letter, “Let’s be clear: every dollar stolen by an illegal alien is a dollar ripped away from hardworking Americans, veterans, seniors, and families in need. That’s not ‘care,’ that’s fraud.”

The Texas representative added, “We’re done funding lawbreakers. We’re done turning our safety net into a welcome mat. We have the data. Now it’s time to act. Find them. Remove them. Deport them.

Representative Hunt followed up on Monday, stating, “The Senate just blocked efforts to remove illegals from Medicaid in the One Big Beautiful Bill. That’s why I sent a letter to Secretary Noem last week asking for a task force to be established to find and remove the illegal aliens accessing benefits. If the Senate won’t do their job, DHS MUST.”
