The chairman of the Joint Chiefs also released footage showing the collapse of one of the smaller sites.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe have separately reported that the Iranian nuclear sites have been demolished.
DNI Gabbard stated, “New intelligence confirms what [President Donald Trump] has stated numerous times: Iran’s nuclear facilities have been destroyed. If the Iranians chose to rebuild, they would have to rebuild all three facilities (Natanz, Fordow, Esfahan) entirely, which would likely take years to do.“
“CIA can confirm that a body of credible intelligence indicates Iran’s Nuclear Program has been severely damaged by the recent, targeted strikes,” Director Ratcliffe stated. “This includes new intelligence from an historically reliable and accurate source/method that several key Iranian nuclear facilities were destroyed and would have to be rebuilt over the course of years.“
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine shared graphs and provided a detailed description of Operation Midnight Hammer.
“All six weapons at each vent at Fordo went exactly where they were intended to go. A bomb has three effects: it causes damage, blast fragmentation, and overpressure,” General Caine said. “In this case, the primary kill mechanism in the mission space was a mix of overpressure and blast ripping through the open tunnels and destroying critical hardware.“
