President Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

U.S. congressman nominates the president for Israel-Iran efforts after Pakistan said they were recommending him.

U.S. Representative Buddy Carter of Georgia has nominated President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

He stated that he wrote the Norwegian Nobel Committee recommending the president for the prize “in recognition of his historic role in brokering a ceasefire between Israel and Iran and preventing the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the most lethal weapon on the planet.”

Congressman Carter continued, “President Trump’s influence was instrumental in forging a swift agreement that many believed to be impossible.”

The nation of Pakistan had stated they would nominate President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize based on his efforts to resolve the conflict between India and Pakistan last month.

“President Trump demonstrated great strategic foresight and stellar statesmanship through robust diplomatic engagement with both Islamabad and New Delhi, which de-escalated a rapidly deteriorating situation,” Pakistan said. “This intervention stands as a testament to his role as a genuine peacemaker.”

However, Pakistan condemned President Trump’s authorization of the U.S. airstrike against Iran’s three nuclear sites this past weekend.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to seek God’s direction as he discusses international concerns with NATO members at the summit in the Hague.
  • For members of the president’s administration as they seek to implement his agenda.
  • For senators and representatives as they consider legislation to fund President Trump’s priorities.
