President Donald Trump is back at the White House today. He left Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada, Monday evening after a dinner with the other heads of state, to focus on the Israel-Iran war. Concerns for U.S. military installations and embassies in the region are high.

The G7 leaders and other invited heads of state discussed the Israel-Iran war, the war in Ukraine, trade, the global economy, and international security. In skipping the final day of the G7 Summit today, President Trump will not be present for the signing of a statement to the effect that Israel has a right to defend itself and that Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon.

“Under the strong leadership of President Trump, the United States is back to leading the effort to restore peace around the world,” a White House official said. “President Trump will continue to work towards ensuring Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, is holding a full committee hearing today entitled Scammers Exposed: Protecting Older Americans from Transnational Crime Networks.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to seek God’s wisdom and direction as he focuses on the Israel-Iran war.
  • For Senate committee chairs and members to be prudent as they hold hearings and conduct investigations.
  • For justices of the Supreme Court as they deliberate and author opinions to close out the current term.
