Media outlet estimates that more than a million illegals have utilized the CBP Home app to self-deport.
President Donald Trump directed U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over the weekend to expand deportation operations in some of the nation’s largest cities. President Trump pledged to enact more deportations than any president before him, with White House aide Stephen Miller saying last month that the administration’s goal was a minimum of 3,000 arrests per day.
President Trump wrote on social media, “We must expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside.”
The president said that officials in these cities “use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens,” the president charged. He said that those in power “hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it!”
A media outlet reported that over a million illegal migrants have availed themselves of the CBP Home app to return back to their countries of origin since March. Illegals using the app have their failure-to-deport fees forgiven, those who register are prioritized for arrest or detention, and they receive travel accommodations to go to their homelands.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and his advisors as they seek to return migrants to their home countries.
- For protection for ICE agents as they seek to carry out deportations, particularly on violent criminal aliens.
