The illegal alien will be indicted for human trafficking.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the deported criminal illegal alien and MS-13 gang member who was mistakenly returned to his native El Salvador will be returned from the high-security prison back to the United States. The U.S. government is indicting him on two charges of conspiring to transport illegal immigrants.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador by President Trump’s administration in March, which the Justice Department acknowledged was an “administrative error.” A judge had previously ordered that he be deported somewhere other than his home country. The matter was taken to court, where the administration stated the U.S. could not reclaim the criminal from El Salvador. The Supreme Court ordered the administration to facilitate his release.
After an investigation, Attorney General Pam Bondi unsealed two conspiracy charges against Garcia, stating that he transported illegal aliens from Texas to Maryland between 2016 and 2025. The administration worked with the Salvadoran government to extradite the man to stand trial. He may also have participated in a murder and solicited child pornography.
Of the trafficking charges, Attorney General Bondi said, “They found this was his full-time job, not a contractor. He was a smuggler of humans and children and women.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Attorney General Bondi to be discerning as she heads the Justice Department.
- For federal judges to uphold federal laws and the Constitution as they hear and rule on cases challenging President Trump’s actions.
- For the president and officials in his administration as they work to improve national security.
